A downloadable game

Overview

This game was made in 4 days for the METU GATES Quarantine Game Jam 2020. My main goal was to learn using Quixel's tools, Mixer and Bridge, which has been free for Unreal Engine users.

Lessons Learned

Kenan Marasli

I have learned the basics of using and utilizing ray tracing technology in Unreal Engine. Also, my primary goal was to learn and understand Quixel's tools: Mixer and Bridge. I say it was successful. I like the assets I've created and imported, thanks to Quixel.

Furkan Kara

In this project, I learned to make 3D Objects ready for the game engine.

Yamanefe Ugur

In this project I learned how to use reverb automation for the sound tracks ı made. It helped me to achieve the dramatic effect ı wanted. Another useful thing that ı learned in this game jam was recording footsteps, normally ı use footsteps sounds ı found in the internet but for this project ı wanted to learn record my own walking/step sounds via my C-1 mic.
